Dot Dot Dot

Dot Dot Dot is an interactive display that I created for an exhibition called InterI.M.I.

Inspired by Jack Kerouac's 'On The Road', I wanted to create an installation that would collect and collate group thought.

A keyboard was placed with a plaque inviting individuals to write their thoughts. Above the keyboard was a sensor that recorded the time someone was in front of the keyboard but not typing. This elasped time was represented using a series of dots.

Around the corner from the keyboard was a screen that relayed what was being written. The 'patch' was also programmed to save all the written words which were then made into a book called Thought Book One.
