Structures

Structures is a project which identifies the visual hierarchy within an article of text and adopts it in the context of a biological growth cycle.

The article in question was on the artist Idris Khan in the Art Review magazine.

The hierarchy within the article was redefined into the hierarchy of the growth cycle of a tree, from photosynthesis to the formation of roots for transportation of minerals and nutrients, resulting in this typographic landscape.
